In the US, I completed my training courses in 'Deep Tissue Massage' and 'Yoga Teacher' at Kripalu, the largest holistic centre in the US. I then started my own practice in 1992. I then completed a 3-year course, the 'Iyengar Yoga Teachers Training' and qualified as a 'TouchPro® chair massage therapist' in 1998.
Since the birth of my first daughter in 2002, I have also been giving pregnancy massages for expectant mothers.
The aim of my approach is to help people experience peace of mind and body through massage. Because of all the challenges in daily life, people often experience not harmony between body and mind but division. We are in one place but our thoughts are elsewhere. This division leads to mental conflicts and creates tension in the body. The result is often disharmony and stress.
Regular massage treatments dissolve physical tension. We can then release tension and we feel balance in body and mind again. Our energy is not wasted on internal conflicts and can again be used more efficiently. By balancing body and mind with massages, we experience renewed energy and inner peace.
Speciality: Deep tissue massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of massage that targets the deeper muscle layers and connective tissue of the body. It is especially useful for chronically tense and cramped areas, such as a stiff neck, lower back pain and aching shoulders. When there is chronic muscle tension, it can block blood circulation, cause pain and restrict movement. And also prevents the free flow of energy through the body.
